Last minute for our Anniversary trip we decided to take the girls with us and we are so Glad we did. This was one of our top vacations. We had such a good time with the girls celebrating Adelaide’s birthday on the April 22nd and our Anniversary April 15th. The Universal Cabana Bay Hotel was my favorite hotel we have ever stayed. The entire theme was 50’s and 60’s Mid Century. Everything was so beautiful and clean. They had an amazing bowling alley inside, we didn’t get a chance to try it out this time, but we plan to go back and check it out then. The first day we made it to the heated pool, thankfully since it was so cold, then we walked to City Walk in Universal. We walked instead of taking the bus and it was worth it. It felt like we were in a tropical jungle heading to the City Walk. We ate dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe, we’ll probably try something different next time. There’s also a Voo Doo Donut shop that I wanted to try so bad but the line was ridiculous and it was already late with the girls. The next day after checking out we walked two seconds to Volcano Bay. What a beautiful Park! We used to go to Wet and Wild before we had our kids but after going to Volcano Bay we won’t be back to Wet and Wild. I’m not a huge water park fan but I’ve been converted thanks to Volcano Bay. The Park was so clean and beautiful, plus the food was amazing! All the bathrooms had Nice showers, we were thankful for those by the time we needed to leave. We will definitely be back! We’re so happy we could experience this with the girls.
Adelaide’s Birthday is a week after our Anniversary, so we celebrated her birthday while we were there too.
Very, meet the Jetsons.
Even the bathrooms were beautiful.
Pizza in the Diner.
We got a free slice of chocolate cake for her birthday, she loved it.
Most beautiful Starbucks, they hooked us up at Starbucks for our Anniversary.
The girls loved the big window in our room.
The pool was so beautiful and heated since it was a little cold.
Even the side entrances made a statement.
They had beautiful cars waiting outside to go with the theme.
The view in our room.
Getting ready to go to the City Walk.
