Salty Donuts in Wynwood

It’s been 9 months since we’ve been to Miami. We’ve missed it so much, so for Alice Jane’s spring break, we made sure we took some time to go to Miami. The one place I had to go, was Salty Donuts. It’s hands down my favorite place to go. I was able to try the pistachio orange blossom, I love anything with orange and pistachio. David had to get the best guava and cheese donut ever made, it’s the only donut David really loves. Plus Salty Donut is in Wynwood, a great place to check out in Miami, it’s so unique, every building is covered in amazing murals.

I recently purchased these Franco Sarto Halton Loafers from DSW. I don’t buy shoes very often, I tend to get one pair of shoes per season. I like to get a lot of wear out of my shoes, I hate having unused shoes in my wardrobe. These loafers were the perfect summer loafers. Loafers can be pretty warm in the summer time, so these bone colored loafers with holes were perfect for summer. I love that they go with everything and they aren’t a harsh black since I don’t like to wear as much black in the summer. I’m also wearing these vintage shorts I thrifted, they fit great and I love the color. I paired the shorts with this peach vintage top. I’ve been looking for a white top that’s a similar fit. There’s one at Madewell that I love but after going through my closet I realized that this shirt is the same style I was looking for. I love thrifting, it’s hard to go with something specific in mind but there’s always something you might find that could become a staple in your closet.
